Lately some folks have been saying that Christianity is built upon a false ‘leap of faith’ that disregards reality, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Here’s an excellent article by Greg Koukl that challenges that misconception:
In this article, Koukl shows how important ‘facts’ and reality have been to Christianity right from the very beginning citing the Apostle Paul and his references to the Resurrection of Jesus. He also demonstrates how Biblical faith calls for and results in action. Here’s a ‘money’ quote from the article:
“Friends, Christianity is not denying reality. Biblical Christians don’t deny reality, they discover reality. And once they’ve discovered it, they act on what they’ve learned.”
